Conditions of Entry:

Age limit: All participants must be born after the 1st of January 1989.

This competition is open to all citizens and permanent residents of Australia and New Zealand as at 1 January 2025.                                                                                                                                                                           Rounds 1 and 2 are to be submitted via a video file in MP4 format. You must submit your video files via ‘DropBox’ and share a link via email: jfostrumpet@gmail.com . 

All recordings must be completed as a ‘video’ recorded in a ‘single take’. Where more than one work is being performed, applicants are required to keep the recording going and include all works on the same take of the video recording. Applicants must provide videos with high image resolution and with good quality audio. Participants are responsible for all costs related with recordings submitted for the ‘online’ rounds. Videos received by ATC post-marked or emailed after the submission dates will not be considered. Competitors who are selected for the final round must be available to perform live in Brisbane on the afternoon of Sunday 5th October 2025. Competitors who are successful in reaching the final round are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. A piano accompanist will be provided for all finalists in round 3 of the competition only, competitors are responsible for providing their own piano accompanist for round 2. All decisions made by the jury are final.
